TOP SCIENCE TEACHERS ANNOUNCED FOR 12TH ANNUAL REGENERON STEM TEACHING FELLOWSHIP

TARRYTOWN, N.Y., July 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The STEM Leadership Center is excited to announce the teachers selected and school districts represented in Cohort 12 of the Regeneron STEM Teaching Fellowship (2025-26). This competitive award confers a 16-month professional development experience to the following outstanding local science teachers:

Elizabeth Jacobs (Yonkers), Kelly Kinlin (Bedford), Sarah Marino (Dobbs Ferry), Brooke Horn (Brewster), Anna Dowd (Bronxville), Nicole Muschio (Katonah-Lewisboro), Lovedeep Singh (Nanuet), Susan Boehm (Brewster), Alison Elfreth (Mount Sinai), Kelly Li (Ossining), Priya Patel-Ma (Chappaqua), Scott Gordon (Hewlett-Woodmere), Melanie Greenwald (Manhasset), Christie Kim (NYC), Kate Sheil (Garden City).

The Fellowship provides one year of coursework in STEM teaching methods designed in partnership with NASA Education and a two-week summer mentored research experience in the laboratories at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. After successful completion, Fellows are awarded a graduate certificate in STEM Leadership from Teachers College of Columbia University. As advances in technology fuel job growth in STEM fields, the Fellowship provides teachers with crucial professional experience needed to improve science education and to inspire and prepare students for college and careers in the STEM workforce.

The STEM Teaching Fellowship is sponsored by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, a leading biotechnology company based in Tarrytown, New York, that invents, develops and commercializes life-transforming medicines for people with serious diseases. Founded and led by physician-scientists, Regeneron's unique ability to repeatedly and consistently translate science into medicine has led to numerous approved treatments and product candidates in development, most of which were homegrown in its laboratories.
