
Top Women Leaders to Be Honored by the Michigan Business and Professional Association
14th Annual Women and Leadership in the Workplace Symposium and Awards Is March 4
WARREN, Mich., Feb. 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Eight area women leaders will be honored by the Michigan Business and Professional Association at its 14th Annual "Women and Leadership in the Workplace" Symposium and Awards on March 4, 2010 at The Fairlane Club in Dearborn. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by a brunch. The conference runs until 12:00 noon.
The event is held to promote high professional standards, encourage leadership, provide education and assure equal advantages for women. This year's theme is "A New You for a New Time." More than 500 women are expected to attend the event.
This year's honorees represent extraordinary professional women who have excelled in eight distinct categories. They include:
