Toronto welcomes the world to the G20 Toronto Summit via satellite

TORONTO, June 9 /PRNewswire/ - Toronto will welcome the world to the G20 Toronto Summit on June 26 and 27, 2010. The G20 in Toronto will bring world leaders and international media to one of the most diverse cities in the world that stands proud as a well established environmental leader, is the heart of Canada's financial sector, and enjoys a thriving tourism/convention, arts and cultural scene.

To help media cover the G20 Summit in Toronto, b-roll video of the city will be distributed via satellite on June 10, 2010 (June 10 & 11 for U.S. markets). The 10 minute b-roll has footage of the Toronto skyline, waterfront and world renowned CN Tower, the downtown business core and financial district, Toronto's diverse neighbourhoods, and aerial views of the city. In the weeks leading up to the Summit, the City, Tourism Toronto and Invest Toronto have worked together to provide opportunities to media to visit and learn more about what Toronto has to offer. Various tours and opportunities to meet directly with the city's business, political and other leaders will give media an excellent vantage point from which to consider Toronto's leadership role in the world. While media are in Toronto during the G20 Summit, the City and its tourism and investment partners will also be available to meet with media and continue highlighting all that the city offers.
