TorreyPoint Announces the Appointment of Doug Marschke to Chief Technology Officer

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TorreyPoint, the Information Systems Consultancy, providing design, implementation and support for next generation networks, has announced that Doug Marschke has been appointed as Chief Technology Officer. Doug Marschke will oversee the development and expansion of TorreyPoint's engineering team, especially driving the integration of recently acquired Proteus Networks.

This will help us provide even quicker turnaround times for key customer engagements and expand our professional services offerings. Marschke was a key player in the acquisition of Proteus Networks by TorreyPoint in April 2012. In addition to achieving engineering proficiency in service provider and enterprise markets, Marschke also aims to strengthen hardware vendor partnerships and increase engineering team specializations by focusing on engineering training and technical certifications, such as ADVA Certified Expert (ACE), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Aruba-Certified Mobility Expert (ACMX), and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE). "Now, Juniper has gained TorreyPoint, a Partner of the Year, and Proteus Networks, an Education Services award winner. The combination of these companies will be no less than a championship powerhouse, which increases Juniper's market share year after year," states Marschke.

Marschke brings over 15 years of engineering experience to this new role, of which 4 years was spent with Juniper Networks – one of TorreyPoint's biggest and most strategic partners.
