Speaking of his appointment, Barry said: "I am extremely excited to be joining Ultrahaptics at such a pivotal time in its evolution. In the course of the last twelve months, the company has transformed from a technology spin out, to a well-funded, commercially focused business, whilst maintaining the spirit of engineering innovation on which it was formed. The customer list is impressive, and I'm looking forward to steering the engineering team to face current demand and future challenges."

Most recently he was Chief Operating Officer at Plessey.

Ultrahaptics CEO, Steve Cliffe, added: "It's great to have Barry join us when customer demand is so high and we are growing the engineering team so quickly. His expertise and experience will be a key factor in ensuring the company's continued success."
