Town Square Sarasota Health Fair Empowers Local Families with Free Screenings, Education and Caregiver Resources

SARASOTA, Fla., Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Town Square Sarasota and Beacon Home Care will host their fourth annual community health fair on Oct. 17, 2026, focusing on dementia, Parkinson's disease, and caregiver support. The free event takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 3882 Central Sarasota Pkwy, offering seniors and their families direct access to medical experts and local healthcare resources.

The program features several educational sessions led by regional specialists. Fiona Crawford, CEO of the Roskamp Alzheimer's Institute, will present findings on how lifestyle and environment impact Alzheimer's disease. Additionally, elder law attorney John Ferrari will discuss the legal complexities of planning for diminished competency, and Cat Roderick will provide guidance on navigating available caregiver resources.
