TP-LINK's 300Mbps Mini-Wireless N USB Adapter Rivals NETGEAR Product in Design, Size and Speed at the Most Affordable Price
Fingertip design features SoftAP Mode and One-Button Security Setup
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., Sept. 25, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TP-LINK has once again released an advanced wireless networking tool, the 300Mbps Mini-Wireless N USB Adapter, to provide home and small office users with a competitive option to NETGEAR products at the most affordable price. As of September 24th, 2012 on Newegg.com, the NETGEAR N300 WNA3100M retails for $36.99 while the comparable TP-LINK N300 TL-WN823N retails for only $21.99, a whole 40% lower in price.
With wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps and advanced MIMO technology, the TL-WN823N offers a reliable wireless connection for lag-free online gaming and video streaming. This adapter is seamlessly compatible with 802.11 b/g/n devices.
With the SoftAP Mode, users can connect their Wi-Fi enabled devices without having a router. Simply plug in the Ethernet cable to your laptop or computer and the adapter turns the Internet connection from wired to wireless. Your tablet or smart phone can now access the Internet wirelessly. This is ideal for an environment with wireless "dead" spots caused by distance from a single wired access point or physical obstructions such as concrete walls.
The TL-WN823N features a super-compact design and makes a great choice to conveniently upgrade your existing wireless network. With the One Button Security Setup, users can instantly set up their security simply by pressing the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup™) button to automatically establish a secure connection.
"Our customers tell us they need a portable wireless adapter that has the power to provide fast connection speeds to their laptop, smart phone and tablet at times when only one wired connection is available," says Lewis Wu, Director of Sales at TP-LINK USA. "This adapter solves the single Internet connection challenge while still being easy to carry."
