IRVINE, Calif., April 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Trace3 announced today the completion of an eight-month integration process with Grand Rapids-based Data Strategy and Optio Data, culminating in the launch of the Trace3 brand in the Midwest and Southeast regions.
As a national brand now covering all 50 states, Trace3 will leverage its unique go-to-market strategy in the technology space, which features dedicated teams focused on innovation, emerging IT research, venture capital briefings, and advanced consulting.
Employees in nine Eastern time zone offices attended a virtual ribbon-cutting ceremony with Tyler Beecher, CEO, to help kick off the brand launch. The integration officially joins the staff, customers, solutions and markets of the legacy companies, and enhances efficiencies for technology purchasers across the country.
The partnership was made possible through a strategic investment by private equity firm H.I.G. Capital.
"In August we began the partnership process with a goal of establishing a world-class, solution-focused company rooted in the ability to empower IT executives," Beecher said. "Today, we're confident in our capacity to consistently help customers elevate their business through a process of integration, automation, and innovation."
The decision to unify under one brand came early in the integration process due to the significant benefits to scale and market presence for the now $1.2-billion company. Knowing the end-state of the business allowed for better alignment of resources and communication to the market throughout the transition. It also promoted a consolidated and refreshed website presence at www.trace3.com.
"Technology already is complicated enough, and we wanted to simplify our message through our branding," said Dana Jacks, Chief Sales Enablement Officer and former president of Data Strategy and Optio Data. "This helps us be crisp with our strategic intent, and helps customers understand who they are working with. It also helps employees rally around a single vision and culture—something we felt was very important."
Along with the integrated brand comes a consolidated, national organizational structure.
"The new structure provides a framework to ensure we are delivering an excellent customer experience," Beecher said. "I couldn't be more pleased with the way our leadership team is stepping up to do what's right for the business as we seek to nationalize and systematize within our organization."
As part of its nationwide growth strategy, Trace3 recently opened a new office in Nashville, Tenn. The company will continue to seek opportunities to expand both virtual and physical office locations in the coming months.
