TradePMR Completes 20th Anniversary Charitable '20-for-20 Initiative'
The company celebrates milestone by organizing and participating in 20 service projects throughout 2018 and exceeds expectations
GAINESVILLE, Fla., Dec. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- When TradePMR, a custodial and brokerage-services provider dedicated to serving registered investment advisors (RIAs), announced their plans earlier this year to celebrate its 20th anniversary by organizing and participating in 20 service projects, all led and staffed by TradePMR employees, it sounded like an ambitious goal. Today, the firm announced that is has completed 22 service projects in 2018 throughout the community of Gainesville, Florida.
"As a company, we take great pride in our white glove service," said TradePMR founder and CEO Robb Baldwin. "The 20-for-20 Initiative allowed TradePMR to extend this cultural point of pride to the communities in which we work and live. We are excited to have dedicated our 20th year in business to this focus on community service."
Projects were selected by employees, led by employees and supported a variety of causes including health, education, family services, pediatric cancer research, mental health, women's issues, breast cancer research and animal well-being. Among the recipients were the Ronald McDonald House, Boys and Girls Club, Alex's Lemonade Stand, Lyrics for Life, Tyler's Hope, NAMI and March for Babies.
As part of the initiative, TradePMR executives and team members hosted several events for families residing at the local Ronald McDonald House. Catherine Sibrey, manager, cashiering at TradePMR, led the Ronald McDonald House service project. "Volunteering is a true passion of mine and to be able to share that passion with my co-workers is a rare privilege," Sibrey said. "I'm so grateful to work for a company that supports the community and provides tools and resources that enable our community and its members to thrive."
