TrainSignal Releases Cisco CCNA Security (640-554) Training

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- TrainSignal, the global leader in professional computer training, announced the release of their Cisco CCNA Security training.

This course prepares advanced Cisco networking professionals for the latest CCNA Security exam (640-554). Security threats to enterprise environments have growth with as much breadth as the advanced networking technologies expanding the web. As a result, demand for security skills is greater than ever.

This course teaches viewers how to secure networks from potential attacks and vulnerabilities in services, such as virtual private networks (VPN) and virtual local area networks (VLAN). The Cisco security suite contains tools that aid in network security, and Cisco CCNA Security training covers how they are used to secure Cisco equipment, as well as overall network security frameworks (i.e. Authentication, Authorization and Accounting).

These Cisco Security videos explain the necessary security considerations for small to medium sized networks, including:

• IPv4 and IPv6 routing
• Access Lists (ACL)
• Firewall Basics
• Intrusion detection and prevention
• Cisco SSL VPNs
• Everything to pass Cisco CCNA Security Exam 640-554

CCNA Security training is taught by CCIE Joe Rinehart, author of the TrainSignal CCNA video training series. On the value of specialized networking certifications Rinehart commented, "It goes without saying that with the exponential growth of the Internet, there has been a commensurate growth of hacking, attacks, and network incursions.  While unfortunate in some ways, it does create unique opportunities for engineers both willing to learn and apply those skills in defending information resources."

Joe Rinehart also leads the Seattle Cisco User Group, and knows the life of a network administrator from over 15 years of experience consulting at the enterprise level.

Cisco Security Training contains 26 lessons in over 8 hours of video instruction. Students will receive 2 DVDs of video lessons and 1 additional content DVD. Each lesson is available in several formats, iPod Video, Mp3 Audio, .WMV and high quality AVI, allowing students to use course materials on a variety of devices. Students can view all materials online after signing up for the course, ensuring instant access. The course also includes PDF files of instructor notes to provide convenience while learning core concepts.

The Cisco CCNA Security Training course is available for just $297. TrainSignal backs each and every course with their exclusive 90-day Total Experience Guarantee. All courses are shipped worldwide at no charge.
