These updates include better device coverage, richer source parsing, and expanded output formats, all of which help organizations scale insights faster in a more flexible manner.

The AI Overview (AIO), which Google now provides at the top of the page following a query, is transforming how users interact with search, and the implications for retailers are significant. Increasingly, users are not clicking through links in search results where an AIO is provided, presumably because they are relying entirely on the AIO to answer the question, which heightens the importance of understanding AIO data.

• Expanded Source Retrieval for Google AIO: Traject Data's platform now captures all sources revealed when the "show all" button is clicked in the Google AIO panel. This enables customers to access the full set of references used in a given AI Overview response.
