Transamerica Again Partners with Habitat for Humanity in Builds Across the U.S.

More than 350 Transamerica employees will join efforts for the third consecutive year with Habitat for Humanity to renovate or build new homes in 12 cities across the United States. Transamerica employees offer their time throughout May as part of the company's community volunteer campaign.

"For the past two years, our employees have had wonderful experiences during our volunteer days, and we are very proud to continue our support of Habitat for Humanity and the families it serves."

Employees from Transamerica Retirement Solutions, Transamerica Stable Value Solutions, Clark Consulting, and the Transamerica COLI/BOLI Service Center business units of the division will participate. They gather at their respective build sites for a full day, helping either to transform existing properties or to build new quality, affordable homes in partnership with Habitat partner families. Their efforts will help revitalize neighborhoods in the following cities:

    - Atlanta, Ga.                    - Cincinnati, Ohio

    - Baltimore, Md.                  - Greensboro, N.C.

    - Boston, Mass.                   - Harrison, N.Y.

    - Cedar Rapids, Iowa              - Los Angeles, Calif.

    - Charlotte, N.C.                 - Melville, N.Y.

    - Chicago, Ill.                   - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn.

Once complete, each home will be sold to partner families at no profit and financed with affordable loans. Families are selected through an application process based on level of need and a willingness to partner by investing time and effort, spending hundreds of hours building their home and houses for others.
