The TransLattice Application Platform combines disparate computing capabilities into one cohesive system that provides users with reliable and rapid access to information. TransLattice's unique ability to decentralize enterprise computing resources allows large applications and associated databases to be spread across inexpensive appliances and cloud instances, rather than provisioned centrally on expensive, specialized architectures.
"I am honored to serve as a member of the TransLattice board and to help shape ideas for better approaches to cloud and enterprise infrastructure," said Porras. "I am confident that TransLattice is on the right path, and has an experienced management team in place with the solid vision and experience to build a strong company for continued long-term growth and value."
Porras received his BSEE from Texas Western College, his MBA from Cornell University and his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles. Porras has served on the boards of directors of the State Farm Automobile Insurance Company, State Farm Life Insurance Company, State Farm General Insurance Company, Quaker Fabric, and ReloAction, and is currently an advisory board member of the Decurion Corporation and a member of the Knight Commission.
