TransWorld Launches Christmas Show
Leads "Seasonal Experiences" Trend
WINNETKA, Ill., July 2, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- TransWorld Events, creators and producers of the Halloween & Attractions Show (HAAS), expands its seasonal impact by launching the ultimate Christmas Show. It will be co-located with HAAS at the America's Center in St. Louis from March 21st to 24th and guests can attend both shows for one fee.
Says Jennifer Braverman, TransWorld President, "Consumer spending on experiences – rather than products – is skyrocketing, according to a recent McKinsey study. We give retailers and venue operators creative ways to profit and for manufacturers to expose their innovative products and services to buyers. Plus, malls and retailers can compete with online sellers by turning spaces -- both outside and inside -- into seasonal 'theme parks" to attract consumers."
The Halloween & Attractions Show created the marketplace for the haunted house and escape room industry and has grown consistently over the past 30 years. U.S. consumer spending during Christmas season is approximately $800 billion ($8 billion for Halloween). "Our shows are the most efficient and inspiring way to prepare for the season," adds Braverman. "Visitors have a cost-effective way to plan for both 2019 holidays."
The Christmas show targets any type of business with holiday season events, including malls, retailers, resorts, family fun centers, amusement parks, zoos, aquariums, and paintball fields.
Hundreds of exhibitors include props and animatronics, games, costumes and prosthetics, concession supplies, ticketing/crowd management solutions (including technologies), music, décor, wrapping, and virtually any other holiday-themed product an operator or retailer might need.
Educational sessions cover both industry trends and practical tips, helping retailers and venue operators learn how to reach and appeal to consumers to grow their seasonal traffic and engagement.
Adds Braverman, "As TransWorld launches new events, we focus on meeting the needs of our valued exhibitors and attendees. We look for unique ways to help them run and scale their businesses and find creative new solutions. They see and learn things from other attendees and exhibitors that can truly transform their brands and selling season. Everyone will walk away from our March shows with great new profitable, game-changing ideas."
