Travel Experts Sales Up 45% Year-Over-Year, 32 New Independent Affiliates Join Team
Poised To Celebrate Their 25th Anniversary With Record Attendance At Virtuoso's Travel Week
RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 7, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Travel Experts', already one of Virtuoso's top producing agencies, has had a year-over-year sales increase of 45% and a 24% increase in the number of independent affiliates. These new affiliates are high-producing, experienced travel consultants that bring significant books of business with them. "Our program is so simple and works so well for the high volume, experienced agent, that we now have almost 60 ICs and staff who have been with us over 10 years, some up to 20 years," said Susan Ferrell, president of Travel Experts.
"With the additional 32 members that have joined since August 2013, we now have over 300 independent contractors. A record 98 independent contractors will be celebrating Travel Experts' 25th anniversary at this year's Virtuoso Travel Week in Las Vegas, including the entire Raleigh support and management teams. To mark Travel Experts' 25th Anniversary and as a thank you for their year-long support, many industry leading vendors are hosting special events for Travel Experts during Virtuoso Travel Week.
Sponsored events include evening galas by Classic Vacations and Silversea Cruises on one night and Ritz Carlton and all their attending hoteliers on another evening. There will be invitation-only events with Crystal Cruises, Four Seasons, Starwood Hotels and the MGM Grand as well as a luncheon event with seven of Virtuoso's On-Sites in the Travel Experts' suite. In addition to vendor festivities, Travel Experts is taking all their guests to the High Roller, Las Vegas' new attraction and the world's largest observation wheel.
