HSINCHU, Taiwan, Feb. 3 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- TrendChip Technologies Corp., a leading supplier of xDSL CPE chipsets, today announced the next generation ADSL2+ 11n WiFi gateway solution based on TC3162U ADSL chip. This, together with TC2206, teleco-class 10/100M Fast Ethernet switch, and telecommunication standards-compliant software, all on an industry-leading double layer PCB, offers the industry's best price-performance turnkey solution.

The next generation ADSL2+ 11n CPE solution, which is applicable for ADSL single-port 1T1R/2T2R and four-port 1T1R/2T2R 11n WiFi gateways, features WiFi function with real 802.11n performance via PCIe interface and supports a variety of peripherals via USB2.0 Host interface to meet customer demand for digital home applications.

China's population of Internet users jumped by approximately 30 percent year on year to 384 million at the end of 2009, an official report from the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) showed.
