TrialLine Poised to be 2019's Breakout Legal Software
As awards stack up, subscriptions boom
DENVER, May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Every year brings a new offering of web apps and legal software promising to make the professional lives of lawyers easier. For most of them, there is a time-intensive learning curve. For the rest, the value proposition remains a mystery buried deep inside the technobabble of predatory sales teams. With its intuitive user interface and simple promise to deliver beautiful legal timelines, TrialLine (Denver, Colorado) is neither.
TrialLine is proving 2019 is their breakout year with several significant Q1 awards and accolades. They were named one of 2019's Top 15 Legal Tech Companies, which earned them a showcase spot at the ABA Tech Show. The National Law Journal named TrialLine to its list of Top Emerging Legal Technologies for 2019. And Neil Tyra from The Law Entrepreneur called TrialLine "a true game changer in legal tech."
TrialLine founder, Travis Luther, insists the company's success may not be as "overnight" as it seems. "The truth is we spent about four years in different stages of development," Luther points out. "We were testing different codebases and just offering the software to a select group of friends and colleagues." Luther says that this development phase generated a lot of buzz as test users spread a word of mouth wildfire around TrialLine's impending commercial release. "By the time we launched our enterprise version in 2018, we had already built up a tremendous amount of excitement and demand," Luther says. "In software, taking your time can be a death knell," Luther acknowledges. "But because we are self-funded, we've been able to listen to users over pushy investors and release something truly amazing."
Luther hopes to spread this amazement to even more lawyers through a number of exciting collaborations. TrialLine's Clio API integration will be complete in May, which will allow Clio Case Management users to export their matters with a push of a button directly into their TrialLines. By the end of the summer, they hope to have their LawToolBox integration complete, which will allow LawToolBox users to publish their case deadlines directly onto their TrialLines. Luther says that TrialLine continues to entertain offers to connect to other prominent legal software companies. "There is a lot of opportunity for partnerships right now," Luther says. "So, we will continue to pursue the ones that make the most sense for our users."
TrialLine is a cloud-based mediation, trial presentation and storytelling legal timeline tool for law firms and attorneys that want maximum insight into their cases.
