TribePlay's Dr. Panda gets behind the wheel in Dr. Panda's Bus Driver
Chengdu-based games developer TribePlay leads in to the holiday season with the release of Dr. Panda's Bus Driver, a bus driving simulation aimed at kids
SHANGHAI and CHENGDU, China, Dec. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- On the heels of the successful release of Dr. Panda's Home on November 27th, leading mobile games developer TribePlay has announced the release of Dr. Panda's Bus Driver. Dr. Panda's Bus driver is a new game for smartphones and tablets where kids can drive their own bus through a large, detailed world filled with an assortment of sights to see and things to interact with.
TribePlay reported that this game had been in development longer than any previous title in the Dr. Panda line, over six months, and incorporates a number of new and innovative features for the series. The game features a randomly generated world, so it is new each time the game is played. This gives players a fresh experience and the fun of exploration every time they pick up their smartphone or tablet to play.
The world of Dr. Panda's Bus Driver is populated with dozens of interactive set pieces: from harbors, to drawbridges, to railroad crossings, and even volcanoes. Players will see boats crossing under bridges, trains chugging along the tracks, and the animal inhabitants of Dr. Panda's world walking along the busy streets. Kids can also take their bus to a paint shop and customize it before taking it on the road.
TribePlay CEO and founder Thijs Bosma said, "The core philosophy behind Dr. Panda has always been to get kids familiar with life and the world around them. In Dr. Panda's Bus Driver, while kids have fun driving their bus, picking up and dropping off passengers; they'll also be getting familiar with driving and how things work on the road by stopping at crosswalks, filling up gas, and more."
TribePlay also stated that this release will round out their 2013 game portfolio, which saw the release of seven titles in their Dr. Panda series that were downloaded over 10,000,000 times on Apple and Android devices. The Dr. Panda games also garnered numerous awards in 2013, including the Children's Technology Review Editor's Choice, Parent's Choice, and NAPPA Honors Award among others.
Dr. Panda's Bus Driver is available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and iPod; and Google Play and Amazon for Android devices.
