Fairy Hair
Fairies are all about whimsy, magic and imagination. Starting with the hair, select one of three beautiful styles that can be created using the new line of EcoTools hair brushes.
Whimsical updo
To create a soft updo, the most important thing is texture. Use a texturizing spray and rough dry your hair. Once dried, take random pieces of hair and crimp from the mid-lengths to the ends. After crimping, wrap hair around a curling iron. Using the EcoTools Sleek + Shine Finisher, brush out waves and spray with a light hold hairspray. Roll hair back on each side and tie in a loose bun. Then finish off the look by adding adornments such as flowers, ribbons or pearls.
Pastel perfection
If you are looking to make a bold statement, you don't need to wear a wig to get colored tresses. To get semi-permanent color, use a powdered drink mix. For lighter colors, mix the powdered drink mix with conditioner. For a more intense color, mix with water and dip strands, or massage all over. The longer the mixture is left on hair, the longer it will stay. For color that washes out, use soft chalk pastels. Taking hair in small twisted sections, apply the chalk pastel to dry hair. Once applied, brush out excess with the EcoTools Smoothing Detangler.
Long-haired lovely
Start by blow drying hair with the EcoTools Full Volume Styler to get major body and lift at the roots. Once you've created volume, clip in hair extensions two inches apart. If you are looking to curl your locks, you will need to use natural hair extensions. Otherwise, you can use pre-waved synthetic hair. Hair can either be worn down with floral adornments, or in a long side braid for a Rapunzel look.
Fairy Makeup
Complete the fairy look with beautiful makeup. This look was inspired by the wings of a butterfly and can easily be achieved using EcoTools line of super soft makeup brushes.
Flawless, glowing base
Start by moisturizing the face and applying a liquid foundation with the EcoTools Custom Coverage Buffing Brush. Then apply concealer under the eyes, around the nose and on any spots. Concealing is key, since this look uses highlighting that can draw attention to imperfections. Add definition by using the EcoTools Blush Brush to apply a bright pink all over the cheeks. To achieve that fairy glow, dust on a powder or cream-based highlighter right above the cheek color, on eyelids and on the forehead using the EcoTools Deluxe Fan Brush.
Double winged eye
For the eyes, start with a primer that will give shadow staying power. Using the EcoTools Full Eye Shadow Brush, apply a shimmery rose color all over the lid and up through the brow bone. Then, using a cool gray shade, apply shadow at the center of your crease and blend outwards into a subtle wing shape. With the same color, use the EcoTools Angled Eyeliner Brush to refine the wing shape, connecting the edge with the outer corner of your eye. Once complete, make sure to blend. Intensify the look by applying a cocoa color at the base of the wing shape with an eyeliner brush. Spray the same eyeliner brush with water, then dip into a plum shade to draw a line along the bottom lash line and outwards to create a second, bottom wing. A wet brush will help intensify the color. Blend out using a fluffy brush, and finish off with a pop of silver on the center half of your bottom lashes.
Finishing touches
Create drama with false eyelashes. First apply mascara along the top and bottom lashes for extra oomph and then apply lashes.
