RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Trinity Convergence today announced that its VeriCall® family of IP communications and multimedia software is now available for the i.MX51 family of applications processors from Freescale Semiconductor.  

VeriCall Edge 4.0, the company's flagship product, provides consumer electronics (CE) manufacturers a comprehensive embedded software platform for rapidly designing multimedia and real-time voice/video communications functionality into IP-connected devices such as Multimedia Tablets, Video Phones, Digital Photo Frames, Mobile Internet Devices (MIDs) and Netbooks / Smartbooks.

The company also announced that it has already licensed VeriCall software for the i.MX51 to OEMs manufacturing Multimedia Phone, Set-top Box and Smartbook devices.
