Trinity Western University launches Worship Lab Radio online indie Christian radio app

"We are very excited to launch Worship Lab Radio. As a pioneer in providing a voice for emerging worship artists, we believe the Church will benefit by exploring paths for new worship. In addition, Worship Lab Radio will be an integral tool for those students who travel to Trinity Western University to study in the University's new Worship Arts program," says Scott Fehrenbacher, Senior Vice President of External Relations for Trinity Western University.

The TWU program, already selected as a top program in North America by Worship Leader magazine, has partnered with MercyMe's award-winning lead singer and songwriter Bart Millard who serves as the program's Senior Advisor. The Worship Arts program is uniquely designed to help equip tomorrow's worship leaders, artists and songwriters with the theological depth, musical expertise and practical experience to have an impact in their churches and their communities. Worship Lab Radio provides an opportunity for the university's Worship Arts students to get their music played along with other indie artists looking to impact the Church with tomorrow's next generation of worship music.   

"Worship Lab Radio will allow listeners to 'imagine tomorrow's worship' by hearing it today. We expect this new station to be a welcome addition for all Christian music students, artists, churches, worship leaders and listeners of contemporary Christian music," says Fehrenbacher.

Founded in 1962, Trinity Western University is a private Christian post-secondary institution in Langley, British Columbia. It is a fully accredited university offering liberal arts and sciences, as well as professional schools in business, nursing, education, human kinetics, graduate studies, and arts, media and culture.
