Triple Crown Corporation Prepares for the Rising Renovation Market

HARRISBURG, Pa., Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Warm summer temperatures coincide with an increase in remodeling projects. In today's improving housing market, many homeowners are renovating to increase their property values further. 60% of homeowners are planning a remodeling project on at least one part of their home this summer, according to Zillow Research.

According to the same study, approximately 71% of 18-to-34 year-olds plan to renovate this summer. These young couples and families make up the majority of homeowners planning home improvement projects. Outdoor living spaces and bathrooms are the most popular choices for remodeling. Many families are looking to bring more natural light into their bathrooms by renovating windows and shower enclosures.

The National Association of Home Builders estimates that remodeling expenditures will surpass new home construction over the next ten years.

The renewed interest in remodeling comes as many homeowners choose to upgrade their current house, rather than re-enter the market in search of a new one.

One Harrisburg real estate developer has taken unplanned steps to better satisfy their customer's needs.
