ROCKVILLE, Md., Nov. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Triumfant, Inc., creator of patented software that automatically discovers, analyzes and remediates advanced malware attacks on the endpoint, today announced that it has been selected as a SINET 16 Innovator. Triumfant will present its solution during the SINET Showcase 2013 to be held December 4-5, 2013 at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. The Security Innovation Network™ (SINET) is an organization focused on advancing Cybersecurity innovation through public-private collaboration.
"We are thrilled and grateful to be named a top cybersecurity innovator and to be part of the SINET 16," said John Prisco, President and CEO, Triumfant. "At Triumfant, we use an analytic approach to detect the most advanced malware threats and nation-state actors targeting large enterprises and government organizations globally. It's exciting to be part of this group of cybersecurity innovators who are also recognizing the importance of solving security threats and vulnerabilities through their respective solutions."
The SINET Showcase program, supported by the Department of Homeland Security Science & Technology Directorate, received one hundred and fifteen application submissions from early stage and emerging technology companies. These entries were carefully vetted in a two-stage process by the SINET Showcase Steering Committee comprised of 66 leaders from the government, industry, investment and academic communities.
The SINET Showcase, a public private partnership initiative, was created to identify and share innovative and potentially disruptive Cybersecurity technologies among the audience of buyers and influencers from the investment, research, commercial, civilian, defense and intelligence communities.
"The traditional corporate debate of 'build versus buy' is no longer a debate. It's a buy market being driven by a dynamic attack environment. As a result, the importance of accelerating innovation is imperative, not only for the entrepreneur, but also for a higher calling – the national security and economic interests of our country," said, Robert Rodriguez, Chairman and Founder of SINET. "We congratulate the SINET 16 for helping shape, influence and impacting the future of the Cybersecurity domain."

Triumfant leverages patented analytics to detect, analyze and remediate the malicious attacks that evade traditional endpoint protection solutions such as the Advanced Volatile Threat (in-memory attacks), Advanced Persistent Threat, Zero Day Attacks, targeted attacks, and rootkits. Triumfant automates the process of building a contextual and surgical remediation that addresses the malware and all of the associated collateral damage. Endpoints go from infection to remediation in five minutes without the need to reboot or re-image. No signatures or prior knowledge of any kind are required to stop the adversary.
Triumfant uses these same analytics to continually enforce security configurations and policies, ensuring that organizations start every day with their endpoints secure and audit ready.
