TIANJIN, China, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- TriVista has been named the Operational Due Diligence Provider of the Year – China in the 2014 Acquisition International (AI) M&A Awards.
"We are thrilled to receive such a notable award," said Leo Liu, Senior Vice President of TriVista China. "As the preeminent provider of operational due diligence in China, we have been able to provide clients with a service offering typically only available to firms in more developed markets. Our team not only has the operational expertise to provide insight into risks and opportunities, that cannot be uncovered through financial or legal due diligence."
The awards, sponsored by the UK-based AI Global Media, Acquisition International Magazine and DealFlow, recognize individuals and companies of excellence within all areas of mergers and acquisitions. Voted for by an international group of M&A professionals, the awards encompass everything from individual deal success to firms who have contributed to the overall M&A activity increase over the past year.
"We are ecstatic to see both North American and China-based firms embracing Operations as a key diligence focus area, right alongside legal, financial and environmental diligence," says Liu. "We believe that we have only seen the tip of the iceberg when it comes to diligence work in China and are excited to continue to deliver high impact solutions for our clients for many years to come."
Acquisition International Awards are presented to firms and individuals for work completed over the previous twelve months. AI's Awards aim to recognize leaders in their respective fields and thus are nominated by clients and peers.
About the Award Process
The M&A Award winners are selected based on three factors, the first of which is the number of votes. The voting forms were distributed to more than 53,000 subscribers of Acquisition International Magazine along 150,000 individuals actively involved in transactional activity. The second factor is AI's in-house research and thirdly, nominees are asked to supply supporting documentation to reinforce their nominations.
