TriWest Healthcare Alliance Pledges its Commitment to Furthering Veteran Economic Opportunities

PHOENIX, June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- TriWest Healthcare Alliance announced its commitment to the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) Veteran Economic Communities Initiative (VECI) at a press conference Thursday with Mayor Greg Stanton and leaders from APS, AZ Department of Veterans Services, and The Arizona Coalition for Military Families.

The goal of the VECI is to increase education and employment opportunities for America's Veterans by bringing together local and national employers to coordinate services for Veterans, Service members and military families. TriWest is a partner to VA in administering the Patient-Centered Community Care (PC3) and Veterans Choice Program (VCP).

The VECI aims to increase the number of education and employment opportunities for Veterans and their families through a network of support at the local community level.
