Troxell Awarded the REMC SAVE Supplies, Furniture and Technology Bid

PHOENIX, Jan. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Troxell, a national leader in education technology and collaboration solutions for more than 60 years, is proud to announce it has been awarded the REMC SAVE Supplies, Furniture and Technology Bid. PreK-12 Public, Charter (PSA) and Non-Public Schools, Community Colleges, Universities and Colleges, and Public Libraries throughout the state of Michigan are eligible to purchase from the contract.  

Effective January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2020, Troxell offers a variety of products to meet the needs of school districts and higher education institutions. The products cover a wide range of categories including 1:1 devices, interactive displays, and AV, STEM, device charging, virtual reality (VR) products and more.

Vendors submit their bids to meet the requirements of the product and vendor selection process established by REMC SAVE. Product selection criteria include: specifications, price, product quality and customer satisfaction, reflecting educational needs, customer input, technology changes and past experience with products.

REMC SAVE is provided as a service of the REMC Association of Michigan for all Michigan schools, providing large volume contracts for a wide variety of educational resources. Michigan schools have saved more than $865 million since 1990 by using REMC SAVE contracts. Schools save both time and money because they have access to bids compliant with the Michigan Revised School Code, allowing them to buy without bidding.
