TruGolf Links Announces New Initiatives with Polymath to Develop Financing Opportunities for Franchisees

New Plans Aim to Bridge the Gap in Capital for Qualified Franchisees to Grow the Franchise Business

TORONTO, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- TruGolf Links Franchising, LLC ("TruGolf Links"), owned by TruGolf Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRUG), the leading provider of golf simulator software and hardware, announced today two new initiatives with Polymath Research Inc. ("Polymath"), a privately held Canadian technology company focused on the issuance, compliance, and lifecycle management of regulated digital securities and other tokenized financial instruments. TruGolf announced on August 18th that it had entered into an agreement to acquire Polymath. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of customary closing conditions. The acquisition would create one of the first regulated, purpose-built blockchains for tokenized securities in public markets, positioning the combined company at the center of a shift in how the world's financial assets are issued, traded, and owned.

We are also in the beginning stages of a plan that will support qualified candidates in developing an offering on the Polymath platform that will provide investors the opportunity to participate in fractional franchise ownership of a TruGolf Links franchise. While this has been done through traditional methods, it is exciting to bring that process forward into the tokenized marketplace."
