Tube City IMS Receives 48 Safety Awards From The National Slag Association

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tube City IMS Corporation, a leading provider of outsourced industrial services to steel mills globally, today announced that a number of the company's sites received a total of 48 Safety Awards from the National Slag Association (NSA) for 2013, the most of any steel mill services company.

The NSA Safety Awards recognize superior performance as measured against Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable injury rates. The awards were presented to the company during the NSA's fall meeting held in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
