Tuesday Morning Celebrates Expanded Tuscaloosa-Area Location With Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

DALLAS, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Tuesday Morning Corporation (NASDAQ: TUES), a leading off-price, high-end retailer with nearly 750 stores across the United States specializing in deeply discounted, unique and famous-maker home accessories, linens, housewares, seasonal goods and gifts, celebrated the expansion and improvement of its location in Northport's Northpoint Plaza on Friday, September 16.

Tuesday Morning CEO Steve Becker and Northport Mayor Bobby Herndon were on hand for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion. Also in attendance were representatives from the West Alabama Chamber of Commerce.

Becker said, "As we evolve our store experience, we are putting the focus on our product and the great values we deliver to customers every day.  Our expanded store in Northport is representative of this initiative with a redesigned layout, our latest fixture package and an easy-to-shop, inviting atmosphere.  We are excited to showcase the 'new' Tuesday Morning in the market."

Details concerning this location include the following:

• Northport, Northpoint Plaza: This expanded and remodeled location is 70 percent larger and features a sales floor of 15,039 square feet. It represents the Company's latest prototype with new fixtures and improved lighting. The store also has an increased assortment and includes more of the upscale, brand-name home goods and great prices that guests have come to expect from Tuesday Morning.

In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the store will host an official grand opening celebration on October 2, 2016. Guests can register in store to win a Tuesday Morning shopping spree, and the first 200 customers at the grand opening will receive a gift.

Since January 1, 2016, Tuesday Morning has opened seven new locations and relocated or expanded an additional 49 stores.  The company plans to complete work on more than 17 additional locations by the end of 2016 as part of its efforts to provide customers greater access to their expanded and unique product offerings and improved in-store experience.
