Tuesday's Children Board of Directors Elects John Cahalane as New Chairman

NEW YORK, Nov. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Tuesday's Children, the premiere non-profit serving the 9/11 community and communities worldwide affected by terrorism and traumatic loss, announced the appointment of John Cahalane as Chairman of the Board of Directors, effective October 17, 2016.  Mr. Cahalane previously served as the Board's Development Chair and will be taking over from David Weild, IV, who served as Chairman of the Board Chair since 2008 and will continue to serve on the Board of Directors as Chairman Emeritus.

John Cahalane is a seasoned professional in the financial services industry, and was employed at Morgan Stanley on September 11^th. Today, he is Managing Director at Tradeweb Markets and Head of Tradeweb Direct, which was based in Tower 1 of the World Trade Center, and was appointed Chairman after having served on the Tuesday's Children's board for nearly two years. As the former Chair of the Development Committee, Cahalane has brought forth a tremendous number of meaningful connections for the organization. He currently resides in Dix Hills, NY with his wife and three children.
