Tune In to 'Meet Me at the Great Tree' April - June

MIDLAND, Pa., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Network of Digital Schools (NNDS) is proud to announce the premiere of its original television program for kids, "Meet Me at the Great Tree," will air on April 26 on WMCN-TV Philadelphia. The show will air Monday through Friday from 7:30 a. m. – 8:00 a. m. for seven weeks of programming, which will run through mid-June.

"'Meet Me at the Great Tree' combines our educational expertise and creative talent to produce an educational and entertaining learning experience for young children to enjoy at home each morning."

"Meet Me at the Great Tree" is an educational program designed for young children, aged three to six years old. Each week, the show's host, Miss Palomine, and her sidekick, Socrates the Squirrel, focus on an overarching theme, such as "Making Friends," "All about Me," or "Hobbies."

Miss Palomine and Socrates the Squirrel tell stories, play games, make recipes, and learn a "Word of the Day," along with other fun activities, to illustrate that week's theme. They are visited often by their friends from the community of Midlandia, a fictional town that is inspired by Midland, Pennsylvania. The Midlandians, including Harvest the Farmer and Dewey the Librarian, are compassionate, hard-working citizens who come to life from the Lincoln Interactive's elementary curriculum, Little Lincoln.
