Turner Chairman And CEO John Martin Named Honorary Co-Chair For The 30th Annual NAMIC Conference
NEW YORK, June 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- John Martin, chairman and chief executive officer, Turner, has been named honorary co-chair for the 30th Annual NAMIC Conference. Presented by the National Association for Multi-ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), the 30th Annual NAMIC Conference is scheduled for September 20-21, 2016 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. Held as part of the cable industry's Diversity Week, the theme for this year's conference is Diversity 3.0—Innovation through Inclusion.

Prior to joining Turner, Martin spent 12 years at Time Warner in various executive management roles including senior vice president of Investor Relations until being named executive vice president and chief financial officer in August of 2005; and Time Warner's chief financial officer in 2008.
A member of the board of trustees of Columbia University's business school, where he received an MBA, Martin also serves on the boards of the United Negro College Fund and the Paley Center for Media.
