NEW YORK, July 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- This Saturday, July 13, 2013, Houston families are invited to join TV host Karla Martinez, the Hispanic Dental Association (H.D.A.) and the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® mobile dental van at the following two Fiesta Mart locations to celebrate Colgate's Oral Health Month:

According to the H.D.A., nearly 40% of Hispanic adults live with untreated oral disease and twice as many Hispanic children are likely to have untreated cavities in comparison to non-Hispanic white children. "When working to eliminate oral health disparities in the community, the Hispanic Dental Association plays an essential role in breaking the language barriers between doctors and patients," says Dr. Alexandra Garcia, Houston-based H.D.A. member.
