Two HighTower Advisors Ranked in Barron's 2013 Listing of Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors

Pagnato and Richard Saperstein have been recognized by Barron's in the magazine's ranking of the "Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors" for 2013. Paul A. Pagnato, ranked number 66 top independent advisor, is a Partner and Managing Director of HighTower's Reston, VA-based Pagnato-Karp Group. Richard Saperstein, ranked number 8 independent advisor, is Managing Director, Principal and Chief Investment Officer of HighTower's New York, NY-based Treasury Partners.

In addition, Mr. Pagnato and Mr. Saperstein were also included by Barron's in its rankings of the "Top 100 Financial Advisors" and "Top 1000 Financial Advisors by State" for 2013.

The Barron's compilation recognizes independent advisors who are positively influencing the financial services industry. Rankings are established according to criteria including revenue, assets under management and practice quality.

Mr. Pagnato spent 19 years with Merrill Lynch, where he established the firm's Private Banking & Investment office in Washington, DC, before he joined HighTower in August 2011.
