Two West Mermis Attorneys Honored in 2017 Texas Super Lawyers Listing

HOUSTON, Oct. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Lawrence J. West and Joshua W. Mermis, name partners in the Houston-based litigation boutique West Mermis PLLC, have been recognized on the list of Texas Super Lawyers for the second consecutive year.

Mr. West is honored in the highly competitive practice area of Civil Litigation. For more than 25 years he has defended a diverse group of companies, including general contractors, subcontractors and manufacturers in all types of litigation and premises liability matters.

A graduate of the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, Mr. West is a member of the Houston Bar Association Construction Law Section and for more than 10 years has been AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating in legal ability & ethical standards.

Mr. Mermis is named to the select list in the area of construction law. Mr. Mermis earned his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law and is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Houston Bar Association's Construction Law Section. He is a frequent speaker and author on a variety of topics concerning the construction and energy industries.
