Tyco Electronics to Host New Technology Webinar on Reflowable Thermal Protection Innovation

MENLO PARK, Calif., Nov. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with its commitment to educating electronics design engineers and other industry professionals on the latest advancements in circuit protection, Tyco Electronics (TE) will conduct a webinar titled "Reflowable Thermal Protection Innovation" on December 2nd and again on December 6th. The webinars will present the company's recently introduced Reflowable Thermal Protection (RTP) device and explain the significant advantages of using this breakthrough technology in automotive applications, including:

• How to address significant design challenges associated with typical secondary thermal protection devices
• How to save board space and reduce assembly costs
