UATP and Remco Enable La Quinta Acceptance

WASHINGTON, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc., (UATP) has begun allowing the acceptance of UATP accounts for corporate hotel stays; La Quinta Inns & Suites is the launch hotel chain.  Remco Software Incorporated, which designs, distributes and supports property management software for the hospitality industry, is the technology provider enabling the authorization of UATP cards at La Quinta.

Remco's robust hotel management software, NiteVision PMS, performs online UATP authorizations for UATP cards.  This allows for use of UATP cards as a form of payment on enabled direct bill accounts.  System-wide UATP authorizations are centrally batched and reconciled, ensuring timely payment to La Quinta and minimizing paperwork.
