The three-day event, held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, showcased premier women's Ready-to-Wear, Accessories and Footwear Spring/Summer 2017 collections for an exclusive gathering of established designers, retailers, and press.
For the first time in its history, Coterie expanded its own brand with two exciting Fashion Week events leading up to the show. With an exclusive lounge at the Mercer hotel and a preview event with Pryma just before the show, UBM hoped to further broaden the scope, momentum, and impact for the show by reaching a new audience and engaging its current roster of retailers, buyers, and press after New York Fashion Week ended.

Urban Zen at Coterie
Legendary fashion designer Donna Karan made a personal appearance at UBM's Coterie show at the Javits Center in New York City. The noted philanthropist was on hand to introduce her new philanthropic fashion initiative Urban Zen, a collection of fashion and home accessories created in partnership with Parsons and a handful of Haiti's best artisans in support of the creation of jobs and education in the earthquake-ridden country. Buyers, editors, and bloggers experienced the opportunity to explore and shop this curated home and accessory collection for a cause.
Hudson Jeans hosted a special Unfiltered Live in NYC event at UBM's Coterie show on Monday, September 19th. Notable performers included Tony winner and star of Broadway's Hamilton Daveed Diggs, Rafael Casal, Monakr featuring Matthew Santos, Elew, and DJ Mike K. In addition to the musical performances, New York street artists Andrew Ghrist and JC Rivera were on hand for live painting at the special Hudson booth, and Get Lit provided uplifting poetry throughout the show.
