The BizTech app deploys an advanced algorithm to mine, extract and rank the technology content from a variety of sources including the leading social networks, self-media and other online content web sites. It further tailors the content offering to the user's interests via dynamic analysis of reading preferences and personalized content settings. More specifically, it is the first time that a mobile app adopts authors as the main content sources rather than traditional media networks hence providing a new platform for the self-media community to share leading edge thinking among peers. This application allows users to follow specific thought leaders to access their archived material as well as new article alerts.

When asked about the new Biztech app, Margaret Ma, Managing Director of UBM China commented, "UBM Tech, the subsidiary company of UBM Group, serves more than 15 million business technology and communications pros worldwide via broad industry-leading brands such as InformationWeek and Interop as well as brands targeted toward vertical segments such as EE Times, EDN, Light Reading, Dr. Dobb's, Internet Evolution and Big Data Republic etc. UBM's business technology portfolio also includes leading industry events like Interop, Black Hat, Enterprise Connect, ComdexVirtual, Game Developers Conference, Cloud Connect and Technology For Marketing & Advertising. We are so excited about the rapid growth of social networks and proliferation of self-media in China… we believe BizTech mobile app offers unique value propositions to the tech community and technology marketers."

Ma further explains that, "This app is not like Digg or Google Reader or any other app which only pulls the content from the internet without filtering.  It is a highly personalized content app which helps users to stay on top of innovations and market trends. BizTech frees users from the burden of tracking and monitoring multiple content sources so they can utilize fragmented time to read and share."

Eric Jiao, CEO of EEBoChina and UBM's partner on Biztech, is passionate about the new product launch and reports, "Many users don't have enough energy to sift the information on the net and sometimes it is difficult for them to articulate their preferences of information. To address this BizTech is designed to recommend content by analyzing their reading habits and existing microblog content."

Providing users with in-depth articles and quick browsing news within 140 characters is also a unique feature of this product. Ma adds, "For other industry verticals we have launched similar apps driven by microblog content. We are very encouraged that these app services have received strong community support and sponsorship revenue." Margaret Ma further stresses, "Each community is different and for business technology decision-makers, research results indicate the depth of content and personalization is a high priority. With added content sharing and social networking features, BizTech app is developed by the tech community for the tech community."

BizTech app is available for iOS and Android. For tech users it is free to download from App Store, Google Play and other mainstream app market in China. Soon BizTech will offer unique interactive advertising services (patent pending) to enable technology marketers to discover and engage with prospective technology customers.
