UGL Services Represents CNA in Its Move From Alexandria to Arlington, VA in 2014

WASHINGTON, March 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- UGL Services, a division of UGL Limited (ASX: UGL), today announced that it represented CNA, a 70-year-old research and analysis organization for a 2014 relocation from 4825 Mark Center Drive in Alexandria, VA to the future 3001 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA.

CNA, represented by Matthew D. Siegel, J.D., SVP and Principal Broker (DC-MD-VA), and Daniel Rasmussen, SVP of UGL Services' Washington, D.C. office, has pre-leased 173,309 SF of space and will take occupancy in 2014. Additionally, Robert Copito, International Director at Jones Lang LaSalle provided tenant consulting services to CNA. Approximately 600 employees are scheduled to make the move.

Mr. Siegel notes that the building presently occupied by CNA at 4825 Mark Center Drive will be available for sublease in January 2014.

CNA's Center for Naval Analyses is a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC) for the Navy and Marine Corps. The Center also provides research and analyses services to other military and government agencies to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of U.S. national defense efforts. CNA's Institute for Public Research provides high-level research and analysis services to federal, state, and local government agencies, and non-commercial clients working in the areas of education, health research and policy, air traffic management, safety and security, and other domestic issue areas.

The future Class A, 10-story building, to be situated one block from the Clarendon Metro Station, recently received formal approval from the Arlington County Board. Final site assembly, securing financing, and future construction are all anticipated to move forward.

Managing Directors Herb Mansinne and Bob VeShancey of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the developer, Penzance, in the lease transaction. Final terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
