NORTHBROOK, Ill., Feb. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UL is notifying sign installers and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) that as of September 18, 2009, Diamond Head Sign Co, Inc., Las Vegas, Nev. was no longer authorized to manufacture UL certified electric signs. Signs manufactured after that date have not been evaluated by UL to the appropriate Standard for Safety for the United States and are not authorized to bear the UL Mark. It is unknown if electric signs manufactured after September 18, 2009 comply with the United States safety requirements.
