NORTHBROOK, Ill., June 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is notifying consumers that the portable boot and shoe dryer, distributed by HotLink Drying Systems, bears an unauthorized UL Mark for the United States. The product has not been evaluated by UL for the appropriate standard for safety and is not authorized to bear the UL Mark. It is unknown if this product complies with the UL safety requirements.
