Ultra Clean Appoints Dr. Gino Addiego President and Chief Operating Officer
HAYWARD, Calif., March 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Clean Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: UCTT), a leading developer and supplier of critical subsystems for the semiconductor capital equipment, flat panel, medical, energy and research industries, today announced the appointment of Dr. Gino Addiego to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer, effective March 8, 2011.
Dr. Addiego joins Ultra Clean with over 22 years of executive experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry. He has an outstanding track record of driving operational excellence and profitable growth in his prior assignments.

Before joining Ultra Clean, Dr. Addiego was at Novellus Systems for six years where he most recently held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and previously, Executive Vice President of Corporate Operations. Prior to joining Novellus, Dr. Addiego spent more than nine years at Applied Materials, where he was responsible for global operations (including manufacturing, supply chain, and facilities), all of the semiconductor product groups, central engineering, and information technology. Before that, he worked at KLA-Tencor and Photon Dynamics.
Dr. Addiego received both his bachelor's and doctorate degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds seven patents and was nominated for the National Inventor of the Year Award in 1993.
In his new position Dr. Addiego will report to Clarence Granger.
