Ultra Mobile Invites Customers to Personalize Their Prepaid International Mobile Plan

COSTA MESA, Calif., Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultra Mobile today announced that its new UltraUp option breaks the pricing mold of traditional prepaid mobile rate plans by offering the first "customizable plans" for subscribers of its international mobile services. Unlike the more traditional predetermined rate plans, UltraUp gives subscribers the ability to add more international call credit or data bundles to any of its plans, any time during the month.

The UltraUp personalization service gives subscribers control over when they want more data or international credit. Subscribers can adjust the services as needed, or build their own personal plan that renews every month. This choice gives both budget conscious and heavy users flexible ways to get the most out of their prepaid mobile plan. Plans can be modified by texting from their phone, going online, or visiting a local retailer.

Ultra Mobile already offers the industry's most affordable and unique international mobile plans starting as low as $19 a month - more than 50 percent lower than comparable plans from competitors. The $19 plan includes unlimited calling and texting throughout the United States and to 10 countries including, Canada, China, Mexico and the United Kingdom. It also includes 100MB of 4G LTE data. Other plans are available from $29-$59 and include features such as free international calling to more than 40 countries and larger data buckets for heavy data users.

When using UltraUp to add credit to their international calling account customers receive 25% in free credit – from $1.25 for a $5 upgrade to $5 for a $20 upgrade. Heavy data users can also use UltraUp to increase their data buckets – from $5 for 500MB to $20 for 2GB. 

Additionally, Ultra Mobile introduced a new feature that lets subscribers check LTE data use by texting "Data" to 6700 or checking online at Ultra.me. The company said it will continue adding value for its customers in the future by introducing a host of new applications and services.
