UltraTech to demonstrate new product for Formula 1 at trials in Austin, TX

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Oct. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- UltraTech International, Inc., leaders in the environmental compliance industry, will demonstrate the Ultra-Fire Grate at the Formula 1 US Grand Prix in Austin, TX in October. The brand new, Ultra-Fire Grate is a passive fire suppression system designed to work with the company's current spill containment products. The patented, plastic grating offers customers a lightweight and non-skid surface that is able to drain and contain large volumes of liquid, while simultaneously starving any burning liquid of the oxygen and heat required to burn. The Ultra-Fire Grate is ideally suited for high flashpoint hazardous materials such as diesel and other petrochemical products, and will extinguish spilled liquids once they are drained below the surface.

UltraTech has teamed up with Temeku Technologies, Inc. (TTi) to bring this new system to market. TTi originally designed their product MADMAT for the U.S. Navy. Now that design has been modified to help further protect customers using the UltraTech spill containment line.

The demonstration will be take place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, leading up to race day.
