S.O.S/State of Security premieres on Tuesday, October 23rd at 7pm in Washington, D.C. and will be followed by a panel discussion with the film's Academy award-nominated director Michele Ohayon, as well as 30-year armed forces veteran Major General Paul Eaton, who appears in the film. They will be joined by Matthew Kroenig, assistant professor of Government at Georgetown and a 2011 Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow in the Department of Defense, who worked on the development and implementation of U.S. defense policy and strategy in the Middle East.
Management of foreign policy and the government's knowledge of potential of terrorist attacks led to one of the most heated exchanges in Tuesday's debate, as the candidates sparred over the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which led to the death of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.
