Mark Consuegra Appointed Executive Vice President Product Management and Mike Flatin Named Vice President Business Development
TEMPE, Ariz., Dec. 7, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Unicorn Media, Inc., the provider of enterprise grade online video workflow tools and technology, today announced that it has appointed Mark Consuegra, Microsoft veteran and former co-founder and CEO of the Internet's first self-serve consumer Talk Radio application, Wonderhorse Software, as Executive Vice President of Product Management and Mike Flatin, former co-founder and COO of Internet infrastructure provider, BandCon, as Vice President of Business Development. The pair brings extensive experience and breadth of knowledge in their respective areas to round out the leadership team at Unicorn Media.
Mark Consuegra joins Unicorn Media with over 20 years of experience in the development of high-tech products such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Expedia. While at Microsoft, Mark proposed and led the creation of Expedia, one of Microsoft's first Internet businesses, taking the product from concept to inception. Mark later served as CEO at Wonderhorse Software, a company he co-founded with a team of Microsoft veterans, to create the Internet's first self-serve consumer Talk Radio application and platform. Prior to joining Unicorn Media, Consuegra was the General Manager of Hosting and Security Products at GoDaddy. Consuegra will guide the growth and development of Unicorn Media's enterprise grade video workflow technology products.
Mike Flatin brings Unicorn over a decade of experience in content delivery networking technology and business development. Prior to joining Unicorn Media, Mike was the co-founder and COO of Internet infrastructure provider, BandCon, named as one of Inc 500 Magazine's Fast Growing Companies in 2008 and 2009. Mike held key sales positions at Axient Communications and Global Crossing, and was a founding employee of Limelight Networks, Inc. (LLNW) where he managed the business development efforts for the company. Flatin will draw upon his years of experience in creating successful relationships to drive business development for Unicorn.
