The Forward! solution for SAP HANA gives clients new ways to deploy real-time data analytics applications that enable them to use information in innovative ways for tangible business value.

The high-end Forward! by Unisys(TM) Model 4150B server has been certified for operating the SAP HANA(R) platform in a single-node, bare-metal configuration - a system running without a virtualization hypervisor. Clients running SAP HANA in the bare-metal environment, with other application workloads in the partitioned environment managed by Unisys secure partitioning (s-Par(R)) software, can gain significant flexibility and potential infrastructure savings. Forward! by Unisys combines industry-standard Intel^® Xeon^® family processors in an advanced fabric architecture. Unisys' secure partitioning (s-Par^®) software creates a partition with dedicated processing, memory and input/output resources for each application workload, eliminating resource contention and enabling fast, predictable application performance with exceptional security.

The Forward! Model 4150B server has been certified for deployments of SAP HANA in a single-node, bare-metal configuration – a system running without a virtualization hypervisor. That configuration enables clients to run SAP HANA in the bare-metal environment, with other application workloads running in the partitioned environment managed by the s-Par technology. The combination of secure partitions and bare-metal nodes within an integrated platform gives SAP customers significant flexibility and potential for infrastructure savings for real-time analytics and other mission-critical applications.

SAP HANA combines database, data processing and application platform capabilities in-memory. The platform provides libraries for predictive, planning, text processing, spatial and business analytics.
