Unisys Names Inder M. Singh as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer
BLUE BELL, Pa., March 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced that Inder M. Singh has joined the company as senior vice president and chief marketing and strategy officer.
Singh will lead the global marketing and communications organization, which will now include the investor relations function. Singh will report directly to Peter Altabef, president and CEO of Unisys.
Throughout his career, Singh has held a wide variety of senior executive roles, including general management, product development, financial strategy and portfolio management. His focus has been on developing business and marketing strategies through analyzing client needs, market trends and solution requirements.
Immediately prior to joining Unisys, Singh was a managing director at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Inc., where he provided equity research and merger and acquisition advice across the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to SunTrust, Singh served as a senior vice president for strategy and finance at Comcast, with responsibility for new product development and big data. In that role, he contributed to the company's five-year business strategy, recommended marketing actions and investments to address a shifting industry landscape, and built a new business intelligence capability and analytics team. Singh has also held strategic and financial leadership positions at Cisco Systems, Lehman Brothers, Prudential Financial and AT&T.
