United Franchise Group Signs Two New Master Licenses Across Türkiye and The Atlantic Provinces of Canada
Agreements expand Transworld Business Advisors and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill into key international markets
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- United Franchise Group™ (UFG), a global leader in franchising and entrepreneurship, today announced the signing of two new master license agreements that will expand two of its brands into Türkiye and Canada's Atlantic provinces.
The agreements include a new master license for Transworld Business Advisors in Türkiye and The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Canada's Atlantic provinces, including Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island. Each master licensee will lead the development of its respective brand within the designated market, including building local operations and supporting future franchise growth.
The three co-owners of the Transworld Türkiye master license bring more than 20 years of business leadership and management experience across renewable energy, technology, manufacturing, engineering, agriculture and telecommunications. All three serve on the board of the Konya Chamber of Commerce and see a significant opportunity to establish Transworld as a nationally recognized, globally backed business brokerage and mergers and acquisitions brand in Türkiye.
The co-owners of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill master license in Canada each bring restaurant ownership and food industry experience, with one operating a local restaurant and the other owning a restaurant in the United Arab Emirates. As they look to expand into food franchising, they evaluated The Great Greek alongside other Mediterranean concepts and were particularly impressed by the brand's quality and professionalism.
